Bio and current research

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology at Stockholm University in 2020 and continued in the Ethology Master’s program where I found myself particularly interested in neuroethology. I am currently performing a research project in the Insect Sensory Ecology and Cognition lab in the Department of Zoology at Stockholm University. My work focusses on characterising the morphology and function of the intriguing and unexplored secondary visual system of bees, the ocelli, using state-of-the-art microscopy and behavioural analysis techniques.
